Eco-Sensitive Zones (ESZs) represent fragile buffer transition belts declared around Wildlife Sanctuaries and National Parks. They act as vital scientific "shock absorbers" to insulate core habitats from industrial hazards, allowing local ecosystems to flourish while preserving safe biological pathways.
